Addressing Influences of Evil: Environmental & Personal
Kingdom Ministries Looking to exercise the spiritual authority given to you by God?
The following is an example of engaging in intercessory prayer by utilizing God’s truth and the authority Christ has given you in your home, classroom, church, or other environments where you desire God’s presence, His Kingdom rule and will to be done. Declare verbally (aloud) and in faith (just mean it!)
Lord Jesus, we (I) worship you and declare that you alone are Lord of all. We (I) invite your presence and assert your righteous dominion over (place, person, thing) and over every power or influence that is opposed to Christ or in any way is purposed to harm or affect the wellbeing of ____. IF there are any influences of evil and the unseen powers of darkness at work in this situation, then in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we (I) command all your activity to stop right now. We (I) cut you off from your source and command you to leave right now. We (I) cancel every effect of your presence and influence and send you to the feet of Christ for judgment. Leave now, in Jesus’ name. Lord Jesus, thank you for being here. We claim the peace and protection you promised and ask that you would cleanse us/me, this place and fill us/it with your presence. Guide and restore us/me with your truth and shield us/me in your power and light. Show us/me how to pray and what to do. Shine your light on what needs to be exposed and resolved so we can know and do your will. Let your will be done and your Kingdom come now. We (I) claim the mind of Christ and the promised counsel of your Holy Spirit to guide us/me into all truth. Empower us/me to pray, live in your truth and do your will. We (I) exchange our/my strength and thoughts for yours; and receive every resource for life, godliness, to advance your Kingdom and strengthen the Body of Christ, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
To Address Personal Influences of Evil
The following is an example of prayer and utilizing God’s truth along with Christ’s authority in regard to another person or persons you are praying for. Declare verbally (aloud) and in faith (just mean it!):
In Jesus’ name, we (I) assert the resurrected victory and Lordship of Jesus Christ over (name). Because he/she is made in the image of God, we claim his/her mind, body, and soul for Christ and the fulfillment of His purpose in his/her life. IF there is any activity or influence of the Evil One in his/her life, then in Jesus’ name we (I) command them now to be silent, still, and to go to the feet of Christ for judgment. We (I) cancel any plans intended to harm or hinder them and command that you remove all effects of blindness and deception so they’re able to see the light and glory of Christ who is the image of God. We command all of your lies to come into the light and become subject to God’s truth. Because God wills their freedom and desires that all people come to the knowledge of His truth, we command you to loose him/her so they may know, serve, and freely choose Christ and experience His love and freedom. In Jesus’ Name, we extend God’s shadow of protection over him/her and their mind to shield them from all harm and every form of deception. Lord Jesus, we honor and worship you as Lord of all. Therefore we ask you Father to draw (name) to yourself according to your desire, purpose and will. We claim the revelation of who you are and your truth to their mind, heart, and soul. May they recognize your love and presence; and listen to and respond to your voice. Protect them from the Evil One and free them from the lies they’ve heard or believe. Surround them with your Presence, shield them with your power and command your angels to guard them in all their ways. We (I) surrender them to you and place them under your dominion and free them to do your will. Amen.
